Discovering the Power of EFT Tapping for Healing and Transformation

 At 17, I received a life-changing diagnosis. But it wasn’t until years later—after undergoing a liver transplant—that I discovered the profound healing power of EFT tapping (Emotional Freedom Techniques). This transformative energy healing method has played a vital role in my recovery, helping me manage my medical condition and the challenges that come with it.

One of the biggest obstacles to lasting change is the emotional component behind our lifestyle choices. This is why I’m so passionate about EFT for healing trauma, stress relief, and personal growth. Tapping works by addressing deep-rooted emotional blocks, allowing for breakthroughs in both physical and emotional well-being.

Hosting The Healing Feeling Podcast has been an incredible journey. Many of my guests have shared powerful stories of how EFT tapping has helped them overcome limiting beliefs, navigate chronic illness, and transform their lives. Their experiences continue to inspire me, reinforcing my belief in the life-changing potential of this holistic healing technique.

Though I’m not yet well enough to work fully, my dream is to help others discover EFT for self-healing and emotional freedom. What Is EFT?

EFT  is a powerful stress relief technique. Tapping is based on the combined principles of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology. EFT was developed by Gary Craig in 1981 from techniques discovered by Dr. Roger Callahan, a cognitive psychologist.

It’s a  gentle and effective way to discharge emotional distress, negative thoughts, and repetitive patterns so we may be present for our lives.

It can disarm our fear response, so we may let go of distress and not continue to replay it, re-enact it, and recreate it in our day-to-day lives.

Emotions all have their purpose, they just become a problem when they get stuck, or it doesn’t feel safe to express them. This a quick, practical and painless method that WORKS and can create freedom from our triggers and lessen our suffering.

When I was diagnosed, I felt very alone and scared. I don’t want others to feel like that.

I want you to know, I am here for you.

My mission is to share the Emotional Freedom technique to help people find the root of what is causing pain or suffering. Letting those who feel challenged, overwhelmed, frightened, or unhappy find a sense of peace and reduce their symptoms if we can.

I’m not medically trained, but I am living an illness journey. I can empathize with your experiences from a similar background and shared understanding of just what it’s like to be us, living an ‘illness journey’.

Creating peace, from the inside out, was the way I found my inner awesomeness, self-love, purpose, and abundance. I am here to help you find yours because your gifts are too important not to share with the world.

What is Tapping

Eft also known as tapping is a powerful stress relief technique, based on the combined principles modern psychology and ancient Chinese acupressure techniques. We live in a society filled with stress, but it has been shown through studies that Tapping can decrease cortisol also known as the stress hormone in your body. Stress is linked to anxiety, sleep problems, weight gain, lack of motivation, chronic pain, digestive issues, and depression. All of which can be reduced through tapping. Your immune system can be affected by stress, but tapping can help to lower stress, and in turn, allows your immune system to work more effectively.

How does it work?

The basic Tapping technique requires you to focus on a negative emotion at the present time. This can be a an unresolved problem, a fear or a worry. While focusing on this issue, you use your fingertips to tap 5-7 times on 9 specific meridian points of the body. 

Tapping on meridian points sends a calming signal to the brain, letting your brain know it’s safe to relax. Tapping on these meridian points (the same used in acupressure) while you think about what is causing you stress helps your mind understand that you are not in any physical danger and it is safe to relax, reducing cortisol levels.

Introduction to the Tapping Points

Eyebrow Point (EB)
Where the eyebrows begin, closest to the bridge of the nose.

Side of Eye (SE)
On the bone directly along the outside of either eye.

Under Eye (UE)
On the bone directly under either eye.

Under Nose (UN)
The area directly beneath the nose and above the upper lip.

Chin Point (CP)
This is the area just below your bottom lip and above the chin, right in the crease.

Collarbone Point (CB)
Starting from where your collar bones meet in the center, go down an inch and out an inch on either side.

Under Arm (UA)
On your side, about four inches beneath the armpit.

Top of Head (TH)
Directly on the crown of your head.
