The Story Behind this Healing Feeling
About This Healing Feeling
In 2023, Lucinda reached a profound realization. Despite years of seeking answers within the confines of traditional medicine to alleviate her persistent illness, she concluded that this approach was not yielding the lasting results she longed for. It wasn’t for lack of care from the medical profession—on the contrary, they had worked tirelessly to support her recovery—yet she remained unwell.
Then, one day, an epiphany dawned upon her: true healing could only come from within. She needed to take charge of her own diagnosis, her own choices, and her own healing. That moment marked the beginning of her transformation—from patient to participant, from receiver to healer.
As she began exploring the wider world of holistic wellbeing, Lucinda discovered that healing is not a single path but a tapestry woven from many approaches. She immersed herself in the study and practice of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), Transcendental Meditation, Reiki, face yoga, and the power of fasting, sleep, and nature. Each of these became a vital piece of her recovery—teaching her that the body holds deep wisdom, and that true wellness arises when mind, body, and spirit are aligned.
This personal journey inspired the creation of This Healing Feeling, a podcast and community designed to introduce listeners to remarkable voices in the healing world—teachers, practitioners, and everyday people whose stories illuminate what it truly means to heal. Through candid conversations and shared experiences, Lucinda aims to inspire others to explore their own capacity for transformation.
While This Healing Feeling may not resonate with everyone, Lucinda believes that when people are given the right knowledge and tools—often gentle, natural, and free from side effects—they can play an active role in their wellbeing. At a time when the National Health Service (NHS) faces immense strain, this empowerment can help lighten the load while nurturing self-trust, awareness, and personal responsibility.
Lucinda’s mission is simple: to make healing the norm rather than the exception. This Healing Feeling invites us all to listen, learn, and remember that healing is not a destination—it is a lifelong journey back to ourselves.
Recognizing that the world was abundant with various healing modalities, Lucinda felt compelled to delve deeper into this realm. She aimed to comprehend the mechanisms of bodily healing, seek out stories of individuals who had undergone remarkable transformations, and explore the methods that facilitated their journeys towards life-changing results. While her primary objective was self-healing, she harbored a hope that by piecing together this intricate puzzle, she could offer solace and guidance to others who traversed similar paths of sickness and pain.
This vision gave birth to “This Healing Feeling,” a podcast designed to introduce listeners to luminaries in the healing community who could inspire and educate. Lucinda envisioned it as a platform to spotlight diverse healing modalities and direct individuals towards resources that could support their own healing journeys. Alongside sharing her personal experiences, Lucinda emphasized the profound impact of practices such as sleep, meditation, EFT, Reiki, and nutritious eating—tools she had embraced during her own healing odyssey.
Acknowledging that “This Healing Feeling” might not resonate with everyone, Lucinda encouraged those who found value in its content to share it with others. With the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK grappling with overwhelming demands, Lucinda believed that empowering individuals with knowledge about alternative healing methods—often free from drugs and side effects—could alleviate some of the strain on healthcare systems. She envisioned a collective effort towards making healing the standard rather than the exception—a journey where no avenue was dismissed until thoroughly explored and understood.
Together, let us champion a world where healing is not just a fleeting opportunity but a fundamental aspect of wellness.
