Adaptogenic Coffee
Fight Fatigue with a Coffee? Oh yes. –
Review of London Nootropics Adaptogenic Coffee – fightthefogcoffee
Could you make your life better through one cup of coffee?
I believe you can.
In my world, I’m constantly fatigued. This fatigue I live with is both cognitive/mental and physical fatigue. It’s an exhausting combination. (Like the unwanted house guest, it has overstayed its welcome) But unfortunately, it is just a regular part of my daily life.
Fatigue led to coffee becoming part of my life. Coffee was there to help me wake up, perk me up, to keep me up and generally make me more productive and personable. (Tired me, can get tetchy.)
Coffee has become part of my daily support system, but it’s always been a short-term fix. A cup of coffee brings that lift I knew so well, but that was until I found London Nootropics Coffee.
If you haven’t heard of Adaptogens before –
Adaptogens are plants and mushrooms that help your body respond to stress, anxiety, fatigue and overall well-being. You can take adaptogens by adding them to food or beverages or take them as tinctures. Adaptogens bring your body back to a steady balance by managing physical and mental stressors.

What’s not to like?
But up until recently, the only way you could take this sort of supplement was in capsule or powder form. That was until Nootropics Coffee was created.
London Nootropics was launched in March 2020 by co-founders Zain and Shez, who had developed their adaptogenic coffee blends for over two years. Their vision was to help more people benefit from adaptogens balancing properties and to make adaptogens easily accessible, convenient and delicious.
Accessible, convenient and delicious are precisely what the London Nootropic Coffee is.
I can’t remember exactly how I found out about the brand, but when I did, I was keen to try it. Brain fog, memory problems and fatigue make me someone who knows she must find a way to combat these challenges. Coffee that was both delicious and effective in its delivery of energy and focus sounded almost too good to be true.
But it was true!
Today, for example, I was feeling tired, my eyes almost closing in front of the computer screen, so I reached out for the beautifully designed light brown, recyclable presentation box. I opened it and unfurled the crisp brown paper to reveal a choice of my three Adaptogen Cofee blends smartly packaged in one-portion pockets. They are convenient to access, accessible to use, and in a format that makes them suitable to take with you where you want and use when you need to.
Morning Coffee, for me, is their Adaptogenic Coffee With Lions Mane mushroom & Rhodiola. Aptly named Flow.
Flow is a mushroom coffee blend that helps you discover motivation, mental clarity & focus. Great for short & long-term memory, brain fog & reducing procrastination.
The perfect wake-me-up in the morning.
Then if I feel midday slow down coming on, I will reach for their aptly named Mojo Coffee.
Mojo Coffee is an adaptogenic coffee with Cordyceps mushroom & Siberian Ginseng.
This mushroom coffee blend is designed for physical endurance, strength and vitality. Great for stamina and performance and has immune-boosting properties for when you need to power up! This delivers sustained natural energy and has immune-boosting properties, and with extra superfoods, raw cacao and cinnamon, hot or cold, my London Nootropic coffees are delicious! That hint of chocolate is just so yummy.
Finally, if you were looking for a coffee drink but wanted something a bit different, how about one that was calming and helped you to relax? Then check out their –
Zen Adaptogenic coffee with CBD & Ashwagandha.
This balancing and calming blend promotes a sense of peace, combatting stress, tension and irritability. Feel alert, calm, focused and adapt to physical & mental stressors.
Perfect if you want to focus on something but don’t want to cause anxiety or feel jitters.
With any of these coffees, if you fancy them not so strong, grab a large mug, fill it with 300ml hot water per sachet and then add a splash of milk of your choice – the result being a creamy coffee instead. Yum.
As a demonstration of the effectiveness of another of their coffees, a few days ago, mid an online meeting, I boiled the kettle, tipped in the moorish-smelling contents, and created a black Mojo Coffee. Usually, I would add milk and one spoon of Half and Half (so wrong – I know – it will go soon!), but I wanted to taste the coffee black and unaltered.
The definition of Mojo is said to be –
- a magic charm, talisman, or spell.
- “someone must have their mojo working over at the record company.”
- influence, especially magic power.
- “the name has no mojo”)
The first few sips were challenging as I’m not used to black coffee, but then magically, the flavour started to grow on me and soon, I was loving my coffee fix.
The cup was soon finished, and without me realising it, energy slowly crept into and over me. I perked up. I started participating. I decided to write some notes, Google some things, tidy the desk in front of me, and create a blog plan. Oh my goodness, I was on fire!
Two hours later, I am still buzzing. Not in a jittery, overly fragile anxious way. I am excited and enthused. I can even prolong my afternoon nap to a little later in the day. Dare I say it? Perhaps take a short walk?
You can either buy the coffees separately or in a selection pack. And, if you feel they are helping your day along, it’s super easy to start up a subscription.
Adaptogens are undoubtedly shown in research to be effective in helping people dealing with long-term physical challenges, but to be able to feel and see short-term improvements is life-changing. It brings me a little hope.
I would love for others to see the benefits of Adaptogen Coffee, so I’ve reached out to London Nootropics and can now offer you a discount code on your purchases – just put ‘fightthefogcoffee‘ into the coupon box to receive 15% off.
For me, a more productive life is a more positive one, and if you can help achieve this through one cup of coffee a day, what have you got to lose?
